The Historical Objects and Exhibits of the Queensland Maritime Museum

The Queensland Maritime Museum contains a two level exhibition building presenting historic sailing ship models together with merchant shipping from early cargo ships to modern container ships, tankers and cruise liners. The Museum is located next to and includes the South Brisbane Dry Dock which was built in the 1870s and features numerous historic vessels which are on display.

Among the many historical objects and exhibits in the Queensland Maritime Museum, the following are some highlights:
