The Archaeological Civic Museum (MCA) of Bologna
The Archaeological Civic Museum of Bologna was founded in 1881 by the merging of two separate museums. One belonging to the University of Bologna and one belonging to the City of Bologna. This museum is a famous archaeological museum in Italy and is rich in local history from the prehistoric period to the Roman Age. Additionally, its ancient Egyptian collection is among the most important in Europe.
